Nokia 6 è disponibile ad un prezzo molto competitivo di € 249,99 anche se è possibile reperirlo molto spesso su Amazon a € 212,99. C’è da dire che, nonostante possa presentare molti lati positivi (primo fra tutti i frequenti aggiornamenti), la presenza dello Snapdragon 430 è una delusione non da poco. Le prestazioni, infatti, non sono altrettanto fluide di quelle che si ottengono su dozzine di dispositivi con lo Snapdragon 625 presenti nella sua stessa fascia di prezzo. Xiaomi Mi A1, ad esempio, viene venduto allo stesso prezzo e possiede un design premium con Android stock a bordo costantemente aggiornato.

A livello di prestazioni, Nokia 6 mostra qualche incertezza con le applicazioni più "pesanti" come Facebook, Instagram e Twitter. In particolare, la prima è andata molte volte in crash e anche quando si riesce ad utilizzarla non garantisce un'esperienza fluida. Niente di inutilizzabile, ma per uno smartphone di fascia media ci saremmo aspettati altro. Traendo le conclusioni su Nokia 6 non possiamo che attestare di trovarci davanti ad un dispositivo ancora acerbo, buono sotto alcuni punti di vista ma deludente su altri aspetti fondamentali, com’è il caso del display touchscreen non proprio riuscitissimo. Sono sicuramente da apprezzare il design Premium, la solidità del prodotto ed il buon comparto fotografico, tuttavia non è possibile chiudere un occhio su altre gravi mancanze, come quella di un LED di notifica, ad esempio, ma anche quella di un SoC di fascia media che avrebbe giovato non poco alla realizzazione del device. Purtroppo bisogna ammetterlo: allo stesso prezzo, ad oggi, è possibile acquistare dispositivi molto più efficienti. Basta dare un’occhiata a Huawei P8 Lite 2017 oppure a Motorola Moto G5 Plus per farsi un’idea. Un peccato, Nokia: da questo ennesimo smartphone avremmo voluto molto di più.

Nokia 6 merita una sufficienza piena perché è oggettivamente un buon prodotto, ma deve essere considerato per quello che è: un buon smartphone di fascia media con Android stock. Non può essere considerato un top di gamma (anche se ora fortunatamente con l'arrivo di Nokia 8 non c'è più pericolo che questo accada) e soprattutto di Nokia c'è solo il nome. Per i punti di forza come le ottiche Zeiss bisogna puntare sul Nokia 8.

A 199 euro sarebbe forse stato un ottima alternativa, ma considerata la fisiologica riduzione di prezzo, soprattutto online, crediamo non ci vorrà molto a raggiungere la soglia dei 200 euro.

Costa attorno i 250 euro ed è un prezzo decisamente a fuoco per un telefono che ha prestazioni nella media ma che nell'uso quotidiano si difende bene. Peccato per le prestazioni un po' sottotono della fotocamera, ma qui si è puntato su audio stereo, molto buono, su design e materiali. Mi ha parecchio infastidito il bug al sensore di prossimità durante le chiamate, speriamo in Nokia, o meglio, in HMD risolvano con il prossimo aggiornamento software visto che Android è stock e gli aggiornamenti arrivano puntuali.

Siamo arrivati alla fine di questa recensione di Nokia 6. Nonostante non si tratti di uno smartphone dalle prestazioni di punta abbiamo decisamente apprezzato il suo equilibrio generale. Sia il comparto software che quello hardware si comportano davvero bene, con un autonomia che non vi lascerà delusi. Unica pecca la fotocamera, che ha però un buon potenziale. Speriamo in un miglioramento delle prestazioni nei prossimi mesi.

Giudizio del team : il ritorno di Nokia sul mercato è stato fatto nel migliore dei modi secondo noi con un modello che a parte il nome che non dice nulla e fin troppo breve, è davvero molto interessante per quanto riguarda l'hardware primariamente e poi il software. Intanto siamo rimasti contentissimi nel vedere uno schermo non solo bello ampio ma soprattutto che mostra colori limpidissimi, chari, precisi con gradazioni e profondità del nero molto interessanti anche grazie ad un pannello IPS LCD e ad una scheda grafica che fa benissimo il suo lavoro.

A prescindere dalla commercializzazione non ancora globale, il nuovo cammino di Nokia sembra essere decisamente in discesa. La strada è stata imboccata nel modo giusto con un prodotto di qualità, curato anche nel software e molto lontano dalla "cinesata" rimarchiata. If you’re an iPhone SE user, there’s no compelling reason to jump ship to a mid-range Android phone, but if you’re an Android fan then rejoice! Nokia’s back! Let’s just hope that their impending flagship irons out the few software wrinkles we’ve seen here. Since the 6’s main flaw will be replaced with the top of the line Snapdragon, we’re not anticipating any hardware missteps based on what we’ve seen from the otherwise well-equipped Nokia 6.

In all honesty, if you’re a novice at tinkering with smartphones, we’d recommend that you hold off till the official release of the device since you won’t be able to maximize the use of the Nokia 6.
