Sarà un successo anche la versione a 15 pollici? Dopo la recensione del ThinkPad P70, abbiamo dato un'occhiata al più piccolo ThinkPad P50 di Lenovo. I due dispositivi sono molti simili in diversi aspetti, ma ci sono anche importanti differenze. Queste includono il display, oltre alla più complicata manutenzione, ma anche una maggior autonomia della batteria. Il modello da noi provato ha fatto riscontrare un problema con il Turbo Boost la maggior parte del tempo.

We have just talked about the cooling limitations of this notebook. Considering the physical restraints, we are pretty happy with both what we found on the inside, and the way the cooling setup is utilized. Lenovo uses the Windows power profiles to set their own within the Commercial Vantage app. In addition, upgradeability is on a high level with two SODIMM slots for DDR5 RAM in dual-channel mode, as well as up to two M.2 PCIe x4 slots for Gen 4 SSDs in RAID mode. Yes, it is not as populated as that of the HP ZBook Fury 16 G9, or Lenovo’s own ThinkPad P15 Gen 2. But let’s remind ourselves that the two machines we’ve just listed come with significantly bulkier bodies. To this already long list of good features, we can add the battery life – 15 hours of Web browsing, or 10.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. The fantastic input devices will make sure that you get the greatest user experience, while the two front-firing speakers will produce a very good sound. All in all, this is not the best laptop in one exact parameter, but it is a fantastic all-rounder, that comes with a huge hardware potential curve.

Yes, it is not as populated as that of the HP ZBook Fury 16 G9, or Lenovo’s own ThinkPad P15 Gen 2. But let’s remind ourselves that the two machines we’ve just listed come with significantly bulkier bodies. To this already long list of good features, we can add the battery life – 15 hours of Web browsing, or 10.5 hours of video playback on a single charge. The fantastic input devices will make sure that you get the greatest user experience, while the two front-firing speakers will produce a very good sound. All in all, this is not the best laptop in one exact parameter, but it is a fantastic all-rounder, that comes with a huge hardware potential curve.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" dalla leggenda inglese, novo (latino) per nuovo) è stata fondata nel 1984 come società cinese di commercio di computer. Nel 2004, l'azienda era il più grande produttore di laptop in Cina e, dopo aver acquisito la divisione PC di IBM nel 2005, il quarto più grande al mondo. Oltre a desktop e notebook, l'azienda produce monitor, proiettori, server, ecc. ed è specializzata nello sviluppo, produzione e commercializzazione di elettronica di consumo, personal computer, software, soluzioni aziendali e servizi correlati.
Nel 2016, l'azienda si è classificata al primo posto al mondo nelle vendite di computer. Lo deteneva ancora nel 2023 con una quota di mercato globale di circa il 23%. Importanti linee di prodotti sono Thinkpad, Legion e Ideapad.
Nel 2011 ha acquisito una partecipazione di maggioranza in Medion AG, un produttore europeo di hardware per computer. Nel 2014 è stata acquistata Motorola Mobility, che ha dato a Lenovo una spinta nel mercato degli smartphone.
Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Scheda grafica per workstation high-end basata sul GM204 architettura Maxwell con 1280 shaders ed un bus di memoria da 256-Bit. La GPU è simile alla consumer GTX 965M.
NVIDIA Quadro M2000M:
Scheda grafica per workstation mainstream basata sull'architettura GM107 Maxwell con 640 shaders ed un bus di memoria da 128-Bit. La GPU è simile alla consumer GTX 960M/950M.
NVIDIA Quadro M500M:
Scheda grafica per workstation basata sul chip Maxwell da 28 nm GM108 con 384 shaders e interfaccia di memoria a 64-bit. Rispetto alla pòiù veloce M600M, la M500M ha solo memoria grafica DDR3 con un bus a 64-bit e di conseguenza è simile alla vecchia Quadro K620M (sempre Maxwell GM108).

Le GPU Quadro offrono driver certificati, ottimizzati per la stabilità e le prestazioni nelle applicazioni professionali (CAD, DCC, medicali, di prospezione e di visualizzazione).
Queste schede grafiche dovrebbero essere in grado di far funzionare tutti i giochi attuali con un framerates fluido ma rinunciando al livello di dettaglio massimo. Specialmente i giochi impegnativi come Crysis, Age of Conan, o Mass Effect sono utilizzabili soltanto con impostazioni grafiche ridotte. I giochi meno pesanti (e più datati), come Fifa 08, Command & Conquer 3, o Battlefield 2142 possono essere giocati con livello di dettagli più alto.
NVIDIA Quadro T1000 (Laptop):
Scheda grafica dedicata di media gamma per computer portatili professionali basata sulla GTX 1650 consumer ma con meno shaders. Utilizza quindi l'architettura Turing senza raytracing e Tensor cores.
NVIDIA RTX A1000 Laptop GPU:
Scheda grafica professionale di fascia media per laptop basata sul chip Ampere GA107 con 2.048 core CUDA. Simile alla GeForce GTX 3050 consumer con driver certificati. Disponibile in diverse varianti di prestazioni che vanno da 35 a 95 W TGP (consumo energetico massimo).
Queste schede grafiche sono paragonabili alle entusiasmanti schede grafiche desktop, come la 9800M GT. Le schede hanno un core simile alle relative schede desktop, ma hanno un clock inferiore e spesso hanno processori con meno ombre. I giochi moderni come Age of Conan, Race Driver Grid, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect, o Gothic 3 dovrebbero scorrere in modo fluido con dettagli elevati (Crysis dovrebbe funzionare con dettagli medio alti).
NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU:

Intel Raptor Lake-H:
i7-13700H: CPU mobile basata su Alder Lake con 6 core ad alte prestazioni e 8 core efficienti. I core ad alte prestazioni offrono l'hyper threading, che porta a 20 thread che possono essere elaborati. La CPU ha un clock fino a 5 GHz. Rispetto all'i9-13900HK, non è supportato l'overclocking facile, ma è invece supportato il set completo di funzioni di gestione vPro.
