The Lenovo IdeaPad Z460 sells for a price of Rs. 34,999. For that price, you definitely get a trendy, smart-looking laptop with decent performance, excellent keyboard and touchpad, and great feature set and installed software. If only anything, the Lenovo IdeaPad Z460 comes with lesser RAM compared to some other laptops in our Top 5 Budget Laptops list. But if you want a decent laptop under Rs. 30,000, the Compaq Presario CQ42 is still a very good choice. In our list, the Compaq Presario CQ42-115TU manages top spot over the IdeaPad Z460 purely on price alone. But if you're willing to spend up to Rs. 35,000 for a home laptop, think beyond the Dell Inspiron 15R or the Acer Aspire 5740, and take a serious look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Z460. Many of my knocks against the Lenovo Z560 are against traits that it shares with the competition. Yes, the battery life is short, but that’s often the case with inexpensive 15.6” laptops packing Core i3 processors. Yes, the display resolution is low, but there are few laptops in this price range that offer an alternative. The only problem which may be unique to the Z560 is the annoying fan. On the other hand, the Z560’s best traits are not replicated by competitors. The keyboard and trackpad are outstanding for a consumer laptop at any price point, nevermind $700. The build quality is better than mainstream laptops from Toshiba, Samsung, or HP. The sound quality is completely adequate for a laptop system and the overall performance figures are solid. The Z560 can also serve as a competent multimedia laptop, just as the advertising suggests. The Z560 is far from the most exciting laptop around. Walking into a coffee shop with it feels like walking into a club with your grandfather’s suspenders on, but those who place function over form will enjoy the Z560 immensely.

The Lenovo Z560 is a very well rounded product. The build quality what makes this laptop stand out from the crowd. Many laptops in the price range have squishy keyboards (Toshiba), a flimsy chassis (ASUS/Acer) or god-awful trackpads (most HP laptops). The Lenovo feels more expensive than it is, and while it is not the cheapest Core i3 laptop on the market, it is close.

In terms of features, it is hard to find a better overall value than the Lenovo IdeaPad Z565. Priced at $650, the system comes with a larger 500GB hard drive and a dedicated graphics processor. Performance isn't that far off from Intel based laptops in the same price range and the keyboard is one of the best. The design of the system is somewhat dated looking and the battery life falls well short of the claims from Lenovo.

Lenovo: Lenovo Group Limited è il principale produttore di computer in Cina ed il quarto a livello mondiale. Lenovo fornisce anche servizi per l'integrazione dell'information technology e servizi di supporto, e la sua QDI unit offre contratti di produzione. Le sue sedi esecutive sono in Cina e Stati Uniti. Ma la sede effettiva è ad Hong Kong. Lenovo è nata nel 1984 come spin-off dell'unità di Scienza delle nuove tecnologi dell'accademia Cinese. L'azienda ha iniziato come rivenditore e distributore, solo in un secondo momento come produttore per marchi esteri, come IBM, che sono entrati nel mercato cinese. Ridurre la distanza delle Schede Grafiche per gli utenti che vogliono utilizzare il videogiochi. I nuovi giochi dovrebbero funzionare su queste schede, ma con riduzione dei dettagli e risoluzione mediocre.

Intel Core i3:

330M: La Core i3-330M è una 350M con un clock inferiore e di conseguenza manca della feature Turbo Boost ed ha un clock con un massimo di 2.13 GHz. Grazie all'Hyperthreading, possono essere processati 4 threads contemporaneamente. Nel pacchetto sono inclusi anche una scheda grafica integrata (GMA HD 3150) ed un controller di memoria DDR3.

Intel Core i5:

450M: Dovrebbe essere simile alla Core i5-520M ma senza funzioni AES.

Intel Pentium:

P6200: La Pentium P6200 è una CPU di fascia bassa basata sul core Arrandale. Rispetto al Core i3-330M non sfrutta l'HyperThreading con conseguenti prestazioni multi-threaded inferiori.

13.3: Questo è in formato di display comune per i subnotebooks. Netbooks, UMPC ed alcuni subnotebooks hanno displays più piccoli. Tuttavia, la maggioranza dei portatili standard hanno formati superiori. Lo svantaggio è che la lettura di testi è estenuante per gli occhi. Risoluzioni elevate difficilmente potranno essere utilizzate.

14.0: I display da 14 pollici sono un misto tra i formati piccoli dei subnotebooks ed i 15 pollici dei display standard. La ragione per cui così tante persone preferiscono displays con dimensioni medie dipende dal fatto che tale dimensione non crea particolari problemi alla vista, non richiede troppa energia ed i portatili riescono ad avere dimensioni abbastanza compatte.

15.6: La variante di display da 15 pollici rientra tra lo standard ed è utilizzata da più della metà di tutti i portatili. I display da 15.4 pollici in 16:10 sono lo standard per i portatili. Attualmente, sempre più appaiono i displays 16:9 da 15.6 pollici. Lo svantaggio è che la lettura di testi è estenuante per gli occhi. Risoluzioni elevate difficilmente potranno essere utilizzate.

Questo subnotebook è uno dei più leggeri di tutti i portatili e può essere trasportato con estrema semplicità. Difficilmente si trovano altri modelli in questa fascia di peso.
 7-9 pollici sono la norma per questa categoria di peso. 

2.8 kg:

Questo peso è medio per i notebooks. Di conseguenza la numerosità di portatili con schermo da 15-16 pollici è condizionata proprio dal peso.

75.27%: Il punteggio ottenuto non convince. Bisogna considerare che difficilmente altri portatili hanno ricevuto un punteggio inferiore al 60%. Questo portatile è stato giudicato sotto la media, pertanto non possiamo consigliarne l'acquisto.
