Flexible. Lenovo tries to make using a touchscreen easier for the users of the IdeaPad Flex 15D with an opening angle of up to 300 degrees. We indeed liked this solution. Our test uncovers whether the device is also convincing beyond this feature.

Its adaptable form suits the classroom or boardroom, in which situations you're unlikely to notice the lack of gaming and number-crunching power. And for £500, you do get quite a lot for your money. For everyone else, however, its lacklustre battery life and low-res screen make it hard to recommend.

The folding design is handy for watching video, and the limited battery life is less a major weakness for a large laptop that will stay at home. However, the overall performance of the Flex is weak even for a budget laptop, so it can only be recommended for basic tasks such as web browsing, streaming video and word processing.

La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).
