It's obviously not the company's flagship device, but it is still full of features. It does have a solid build, even though it feels cheap with it plastic casing, and the rear cover of the device needs to be literally prised open to access the innards. If you are willing to compromise and want to keep some money in your pocket, and fancy embracing a device that has not been produced by the established big boys in the industry, then the Huawei Ascend Y300 could be for you.

The design was the final aspect of the Mate 7 that surprised me. Its aluminium build is excellent from both an ergonomic and visual perspective, giving this high-end smartphone the premium feel it deserves. The fingerprint sensor is in a great location, as is the power button, which helps make the large body less tricky to use. Not to mention the front panel is mostly display, with very little bezel.

Emerging from the shadows cast by the likes of Apple and Samsung, Huawei has given us an excellent plus-sized handset to consider. The rear-facing fingerprint scanner is well implemented and other useful features like dual-SIM support through the microSD slot show the Chinese company is innovating nicely. At its core are a decent cabal of specifications that keep the handset running quickly, if not quite as smoothly or intuitively as its native Android or iOS counterpoints. But the sticky issue of battery life is handled very well by a thorough power management app that lets you tweak and optimise to your heart's consent.

Giudizio del team : che dire del suo aspetto estetico. Quasi quasi le sue linee sembrano richiamare molti modelli Samsung ma con le sue features non troveremmo mai un Samsung a questo prezzo. Non pesa tantissimo ma comunque in mano si sente eccome essendo anche non tanto sottile. Ottimo il suo schermo che non è eccezionale, diciamolo, ma che offre una visualizzazione molto chiara e netta con ottimi colori anche merito della scheda grafica ma il sistema multitouch poteva leggermente essere migliorato perchè non sembra molto reattivo al tocco delle dita. Non ci sono particolari novità su questo smartphone anche se siamo contenti di aver trovare perlomeno un processore che spinge fino a 1.4 Ghz di potenza, perchè altrimenti con una potenza al di sotto di questa staremmo parlando di uno smartphone di alcuni anni fa.

Giudizio del team : è già tanto, credeteci, aver dato una sufficienza a questo smartphone, perchè diversi reparti sono molto scadenti. A partire dallo schermo innanzitutto che non raggiunge il full hd ma non è solo una questione di risoluzione perchè anche il pannello IPS LCD non riesce a far vedere, non riesce a mostrare colori chiari, limpidi, solidi anche a causa di una pessima scheda grafica che poi, unita ad un processore molto poco potente, ci dimostra che questo Huawei Y3 è davvero molto ridicolo e non ci permette di eseguire diverse semplici funzioni in modo lineare.

Anche se sembra ce ne siano di più: il grande modulo di fotocamera del Huawei Y5p contiene un solo obiettivo. Questo è accettabile a un prezzo molto ragionevole, ma bisogna anche abituarsi ai servizi di Google che mancano e agli ampi bordi del display. È comunque sufficiente per poterlo raccomandare?

Queste schede grafiche per portatili non sono adatte al gaming. Anche se dovessero funzionare, ci sarebbero diversi errori grafici e un frame rate molto basso. Questi chips non sono affatto per i gamers! Applicazioni internet e da ufficio, invece non sono problematiche per queste GPUs.

I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.
