L’N10 è un prodotto a cavallo fra i netbook e gli ultraportatili, con CPU Atom e grafica dedicata, che si propone come una soluzione adatta a chi è quasi sempre in movimento e non vuole rinunciare ad avere il notebook con sé.

There is no doubt though that Asus has established itself as an exceptional laptop producer who can provide good quality products as a good price. So the answer to your question is, yes, Asus laptops are good and they are worth taking a look at.

EN→ITIt's difficult to pigeonhole the N10. It's small and cheap enough to be considered a netbook, but it's also powerful and well-equipped enough to take on traditional ultraportables. Whatever you call it, it's undeniably a great piece of engineering that offers more possibilities for less money than its rivals. As long as this is around, there's absolutely no point buying something like an Eee PC 1000H or even a MacBook Air.

EN→ITIt's hard not to like the N10 when it's sitting in front of you, but we can't help coming back to its neither-fish-nor-fowl nature. Think of it as a notebook, and its performance and low screen size and resolution will disappoint. Consider it a netbook, and it's expensive and bulky. This is a shame, because the N10 packs in a heck of a lot of technology for the price and it looks great. But it sits right between two stools, and we think most buyers will opt for either a smaller netbook or a larger, more powerful notebook.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950: Il nuovo core di grafica Intel® GMA 950 è un motore grafico intelligente e dai tempi di risposta rapidi integrato nel chipset presente sulla scheda madre. Non propriamente adatta per giocare.
Soltanto i giochi datasi possono essere giocati in modo fluido con questi chips grafici (se non richiedono troppe prestazioni). I cores con memoria grafica condivisa in questa categoria hanno il vantaggio delle minori emissioni di calore e della maggiore autonomia della batteria. Per ufficio, internet, image processing, e video editing queste schede grafiche sono utilizzabili senza particolari problematiche.

Intel Atom:
La Intel Atom è una serie a 64-Bit di microprocessori (non tutti i modelli supportano 64bit) per portatili economici e piccoli (chiamati comunemente netbooks), MIDs, o UMPCs (Ultra Mibile Persona Computer). La particolarità della nuova architettura è l'esecuzione "in order" (al posto della consueta e più veloce esecuzione "out of order"). Di conseguenza il transistor count della serie Atom è abbastanza inferiore, e quindi più economico da produrre. Inoltre, il consumo di energia è molto contenuto. Le prestazioni per Megahertz sono ovviamente peggiori rispetto ai vecchi Pentium 3M (1,2 GHz alla pari di 1.6 GHz Atom).
N270: CPU single core economico e lento, a basso consumo, per Netbook. A causa dell'esecuzione in-order, le prestazioni per MHz sono peggiori rispetto ad un processore Core Solo o ad un Celeron M.

10.2": Il netbook/subnotebook ha un formato di display abbastanza piccolo. Tuttavia di tratta di un formato comune per i netbooks. Lo svantaggio è che la lettura di testi è estenuante per gli occhi. Risoluzioni elevate difficilmente potranno essere utilizzate.

1.8 kg: Questo portatile è più leggero rispetto alla media di tutti i notebooks. Ma è troppo pesante per essere un sub-notebooks.
