iPhone 7 Plus ancora una volta si presenta come il top degli smartphone al momento in circolazione, anche se come in ogni cosa ci sono dei “se” e dei “ma“. Il suo prezzo di listino oscilla dai 939 euro fino ai 1159 euro della versione da 256 GB, cifre decisamente da capogiro e che, al momento, non sono paragonabili a nessun altro smartphone in commercio.

Costa tra i 939 e i 1159 euro. Da 32 a 256 gb. Jet black bellissimo ma delicato e un po' scivoloso, oltre che sporchevole. Ribadisco quanto detto per iPhone 7 con il plus di una batteria che dura un 20-30% in più a scapito di una maneggevolezza decisamente inferiore. Ma sono considerazioni che lascerò al confronto. Un telefono con un buon display, un ottimo sistema operativo, impermeabile, veloce, anche se sporadicamente qualche lag compare tra le animazioni. Ha dalla sua un software e un ecosistema ben oliati. Ma se il 7 ha poca concorrenza viste le dimensioni compatte, questo 5,5" se la deve vedere con tanti altri "padelloni". E si, perché lui un po' padellone lo è. Ed è anche caro!

Concludendo possiamo dire che iPhone 7 Plus non segna un’evoluzione rispetto al passato e sembra quasi una versione S di iPhone 6s Plus. Migliorano le prestazioni, la fotocamera e la batteria, abbiamo l’impermeabilità e un nuovo tasto home ma sono cambiamenti di poco conto rispetto al suo predecessore. Di contro abbiamo il prezzo, che parte da 939 euro e l’assenza del jack audio che ci costringe ad usare degli adattatori. L’acquisto è sicuramente consigliato per chi proviene da iPhone 6 e precedenti, mentre chi ha una versione 6S può sicuramente aspettare l’anno prossimo.

In conclusione, questo iPhone 7 Plus lo definirei più una versione S di iPhone 6s Plus, un telefono che migliora ulteriormente rispetto alle generazioni precedenti ma mantiene un design che, anche se ancora piacevole, vede nelle nuove colorazioni la vera novità (per la Jet Black si dovrà scegliere tra 128GB e 256GB di memoria integrata). Da questo punto di vista, venendo da un iPhone 6 Plus o un 6s Plus, scegliendo uno colore più classico la percezione, infatti, sarà quella di non aver cambiato device.

Should you buy it? This is a great phone with some potentially-significant issues. While the design might not have altered a great deal, it's clear that some big strides are made with this year's iPhones. Waterproofing is a huge plus point, and the traditional increase in processing power once again puts Apple at the front of the pack. La maggior parte dei giochi attuali può essere giocata in modo fluido. Ma preparatevi ad una riduzione delle presentazioni grafiche considerando le impostazioni di dettaglio basse e la risoluzione limitata. Tuttavia, queste schede forniscono ancora abbastanza potenza per le applicazioni da ufficio e la proiezioni di video (ma non per i video HD).

I display con dimensioni maggiori consentono risoluzioni più elevate. Quindi, i dettagli come le lettere sono più grandi. D'altro canto, il consumo energetico è inferiore negli schermi con diagonali piccole e su dispositivi più piccoli, più leggeri ed economici.
